We are wired for connection.
Relationships are a central part of our lives and a rich area for growth. We are shaped by our relationships, and we shape our relationships.
All relationships, including friendships, family, and intimate partnerships help us learn more about ourselves.
Counselling sessions offer a valuable opportunity to explore different issues of relating with a trained professional. Our struggles in relationships often relate to the past, things that need to be understood, resolved and healed in order to thrive.
Counselling shows a commitment and bravery to oneself and to one’s relationships.
Barbra - Counsellor for Couples and Individuals
My personal relational experiences have inspired my desire to support others.
My professional training draws from psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, somatic psychology, yoga, music and nature-based teachings received gratefully from elders of indigenous wisdom. I have facilitated workshops in Bali, Australia and California. I have counselled couples at The Place retreats in Bali (2022) and individuals at Interrelate in Australia (2024). I run retreats for couples privately and have supported many clients on their journey.
